It is with severe sadness and despair that we share rhe news of one of our very own entering 3rd grade Tigers passing late Saturday nihht after being involved in a drunk driving incident involving another drunk driver.
As soon as your PTO knows how best to support our family in this time of unsurmountable grief, we will let our South School community know.
At this time, we are giving them space and time to heal and come to terms with the tragedy that unfolded this past weekend.
We know morale is low and we are all feeling this loss in our own ways, but we are hopeful that we will come together as a community and figure out the best way to honor our fallen Tigers memory.
We are open to suggestions - things such as planting a memorial tree or providing a gift in our Tigers name and are happy to listen to everyone’s suggestions. Please just comment below if you may have any suggestions ❤️

South Elementary PTO is a group of volunteer parents focused on raising money to support programs and initiatives that benefit the students at South Elementary. The majority of our funds go to support curriculum enrichment, equipment for specials such as PE and art, and continuation of software licenses enable highly interactive and engaging learning for the students. Every child in every grade benefits from funds raised by the PTO.
