Home  /  Events  /  Add our calendar

Put every PTO date in your own calendar.

Set it up once and every event appears alongside your work meetings and family plans — including any we add or change later. Takes about a minute.

It updates itself

Change a date and it changes in your calendar too. Nothing to check.

You get reminders

Your phone tells you the night before, the way it does for everything else.

Nothing to install

No app, no account. It uses the calendar already on your phone.

Pick your calendar

Not sure? Choose iPhone if you have an iPhone, Android if you don't.

iPhone or iPad

About 1 minute

This adds a subscribed calendar to the Calendar app that came with your phone. You can turn it off or remove it at any time.

  1. Tap the button below on your phone

If you're reading this on a computer, email yourself this page first — the button only works on the phone you want the calendar on.

  2. Tap Subscribe when the box appears

iPhone will ask whether you want to subscribe to "South PTO". Tap Subscribe.

  3. Tap Done

That's it. Open the Calendar app and you'll see South PTO events alongside everything else.

Ready? Tap this on your phone.

Add to iPhone Calendar

Android

About 2 minutes

Android phones use Google Calendar underneath, so this is a two-part job: add it to your Google account on a computer or browser, then it appears on your phone automatically.

  4. Paste the link and tap Add calendar

Within a few minutes South PTO events appear in the Calendar app on your phone.

Google Calendar

About 1 minute

Best done on a computer. Once added, it syncs to every device signed into the same Google account.

It opens Google Calendar with our feed ready to add.

  2. Click Add

Google asks you to confirm. Click Add.

  3. Rename it if you like

By default it's called "South PTO". Under Settings you can rename it or change its colour.

Opens in a new tab.

If something goes wrong

Nothing happened when I tapped the button
Most likely you're on a computer rather than a phone, or your browser blocked it. Try copying the link and adding it manually using the steps above — or email this page to yourself and open it on your phone.
I subscribed but I can't see any events
Calendars can take a few minutes to appear the first time, and up to a day to refresh after that. Also check the calendar is switched on — in the iPhone Calendar app, tap Calendars at the bottom and make sure South PTO is ticked.
The events are there but the times look wrong
Usually a timezone setting on your device. Our calendar publishes in Eastern time. If your phone is set to a different timezone, events will shift by that difference.
How do I remove it later?
On iPhone: Settings, then Calendar, then Accounts, then Subscribed Calendars — tap South PTO and Delete Account. In Google Calendar: find South PTO under Other calendars in the left-hand column and click the X beside it.
I'd rather just download the dates once
You can — but they won't update if we change anything. If that's what you want, use the download link on the events page instead of subscribing here.
