iPhone & iPad

Adds a subscribed calendar to the Calendar app that came with your device. It updates by itself when we add or change a date.
Add to iPhone Calendar
- Tap the button above on the iPhone or iPad you want the dates on.On a computer? Open this page on your phone instead, or use the Mac tab.
- Tap Subscribe when your phone asks.It will show the calendar’s address and ask whether to subscribe.
- Tap Add, then Done.Open the Calendar app and PTO events appear alongside your own.
To remove it later: Settings → Calendar → Accounts → Subscribed Calendars (on newer iPhones, Settings → Apps → Calendar → Calendar Accounts), then tap South PTO and Delete Account.
Android

Android phones use Google Calendar. The Google Calendar app can’t add a calendar from a link, so this happens in your browser once, then it appears in the app.
Add to Google Calendar
- Tap the button above and sign in to Google if asked.If it opens the Calendar app and nothing happens, copy the link below instead.
- Tap Add to confirm.No button? Go to calendar.google.com in your browser, choose “Desktop site” from the browser menu, then Other calendars → + → From URL, paste the link and tap Add calendar.
- Turn on sync in the app.In the Google Calendar app: Menu → Settings → South PTO → switch Sync on. Events can take a few minutes to appear.

Mac

Adds PTO dates to the Calendar app on your Mac. Save it to iCloud and it shows up on your iPhone too.
Add to Apple Calendar
- Click the button above.Calendar opens and shows the calendar’s address. Click Subscribe.
- Set Location to iCloud and Auto-refresh to Every day.iCloud means it syncs to your iPhone and iPad as well.

Google Calendar

Best done on a computer. Once added, it appears on every phone and tablet signed in to the same Google account.
Add to Google Calendar

- Optional: change its colour.Hover over South PTO, click the three dots, and pick a colour.

Outlook

Pick the one you use. Personal Outlook and Hotmail accounts use Outlook.com; work and school accounts usually use Microsoft 365.
- Click your button and sign in if asked.Outlook opens with our calendar filled in. Click Import or Save.
- Using the Outlook app on a computer instead?Open Calendar → Add calendar → Subscribe from web (in older versions: Home → Add Calendar → From Internet), paste the link below, and confirm.

Download once
Won’t update
Downloads today’s dates as a file you open in any calendar app. It’s a one-off copy, so it won’t pick up new events or changes. Subscribing (the other tabs) is usually better.
- Download the file.Use “for Outlook” if you use the Outlook desktop app.
- Open it.Your calendar app asks where to add the events. Choose a calendar and confirm.
Nothing happened when I tapped the button
You may be on a different device from the one the button is for. Pick your device in the tabs above, or copy the link and add it by hand using the steps.
I subscribed but I can’t see any events
The first sync can take a few minutes. Check the calendar is switched on: on iPhone, tap Calendars at the bottom of the Calendar app; on Android, turn on Sync for South PTO in Google Calendar’s settings.
How quickly do changes show up?
Apple Calendar and Outlook check for changes every few hours. Google Calendar decides its own schedule and can take up to a day.
How do I remove it?
iPhone: see the note on the iPhone tab. Google Calendar: hover over South PTO under Other calendars and click the X. Outlook: right-click South PTO and choose Remove.
